Ask Your Feet!!

For those of you who don't know what the heck that means, it's from the play. Today I spent all day in the conference room making masks and reading the play. So I didn't have to go to class, which is good because I still haven't done the math homework due today, lol.

So the day started with reading, nothing spiffy about that. Then I went to LA where I thought I was supposed to meet Mrs. Walling, but I found out just in time that I was supposed to be in the conference room. So when we got there, we took notes on all the Greek myths and such, which was cool. Then we had to make masks because every actor in this play wore a mask. Mine turned out so weird!! Then the rest of the the day, we read the play its self. And let me tell you, some of the stuff was really really disturbing. The entire concept of the play was sorta disturbing too, I mean, this Greek king kills his father, and marries his mother, but he never knew these people were his parents. Ewe.

After school, I came home, read some Ceres and watched Gilmore Girls, then left to go back to school to go to the play. When I got there, I found I wasn't the only person in a skirt, which was nice, both Lauren and Mandi were in skirts. Yay. When everyone arrived, we went downtown and went out to dinner. While I was there I had to change shoes with Laurel because mine didn't fit and kept slipping off. So we ate dinner, and the girls around me and I had a very deep conversation about religion, it was kinda fun actually. Near the end of dinner, I found that the onion ring starter cost $10, my God! I put that there just in cast you wanted to know how much the starter order of onion rings costs at Ted's Montana Grill, XD. When dinner was over we walked the six or so blocks to the DCPA and thank God I had Laurels shoes, there was more snow on that side of the street. The play was good, but I always knew what was coming because we had read the script, but that's ok. The masks were cool, and the actors were good, but Mandi fell asleep, oops! Hehe. When the whole thing was over, we walked back to the car, and Laurel and I had switched shoes, so I was back in my crappy ones. I tried to shuffel across the street, and my shoes fell off, so I had to walk for about a block barefoot because my feet were so numb my shoes wouldn't stay one because I couldn't feel my feet. COLD!! Ya, the trip back was cold!! But Lauren and I had some interresting conversations. When she called her house to tell her parents that we were on our way home, Alex picked up the phone, so I asked to talk to him, just for the fun of it, and even though Lauren told him before handing me the phone he goes "Who is this?" and I go "It's me, Ellie, ya know that one girl from school who hangs out with you someitmes?". Stupid boys. They seem to have a knack for getting on my nerves. So that's my review, and I must go now, because it is late, and I am very tired. ByeBye!!
