Best Slow Dancing Songs

So for some reason, my LAUNCHcast station keeps playing all of these great slow dancing songs! So I thought I would list them for you:

10) Celine Dion, Have you Ever Been in Love?

9) The Titanic Song

8) Richard Marx, Now and Forever

7) Evanescence, My Immortal

6) The "Have I told you Lately, that I love you?" song (I don't know the artist or the actual title)

5) Sheryl Crow, The First Cut is the Deepest

4) 98 Degrees, My Everything

3) That "I'm already there" song (I don't know the artist or the actual title)

2) Brian Adams, (Everything I do) I do it for You

1) Richard Marx, Right Here Waiting for You

Oh, these don't really have an order, I like 'em all the same. Plus, some of them I thought of at different times, so if I did order them, it would be a little bit different. But what you get to do now is leave a comment, and put them in order from number (I'll include mine at the bottom of the post) going from your favorite to your least favorite. Or if you don't like one at all/like one not on here better, leave the number out, and replace it with the artist & title (or a description so we know what song you're talking about if you don't know the artist/title) Ok, bye, hope I wasted your time effective!

LE

1, 3, 8, 4, 2, 6, 9, 5, 10, 7

PS! Here are some songs I thought of/heard after I made this post!

Richard Marx, Hold on to the Night

Enrique Iglesias, Hero

Winds Nocturn is a good song

Ya so, I guess quite a bit has happened since my last post. Gah, this has been an exausting past 1.5374759583746284845587375 weeks. Thursday we had a football game to play at, so we played, and then left. Woot? I came home and did homework for a little while. Saterday was Pomona. It was sooooo long! We had rehersal at about 9 in the morning (XD, Robbie made us do more dancing) and then ate lunch. Apres le dejuner, nous avons mis nos uniformes et nous sommes alles au Pomona. Once there, we spent a long time warming up. Then we had prelims. Afterwards, we changed into our normal clothes and had lots of food. Alan was there (my God! that kid is just...always there!)...eew. Then we got back into our uniforms for finals and warmed up again. Lakewood was watching us do across the floors, and guess who was watching me? I wanted to jam my flute through his skull. FREAK! LEAVE ME ALONE! ok, I'm good now, I got that out of my system.

So then we did our finals preformance, I thought it was better then our prelims, but it really wasn't. After that, we went home, I pratically fell asleep on Amy's shoulder, Sammy really did fall asleep in the isle of the bus. I tried to take a pic, but to no avail. We waited a while for our hats to get off the truck, grabbed 'em then Rachel took me, Amy, and Torey to Denny's. When we were leaving the school, Nick sprayed his cologne right into my eye! It stung soooooooooo bad!!! So not only did I smell like a man, but I was pratically blind. Conversation at the table at Denny's was interesting. Amy and I got french toast, it was yummy. Then we left. The convo in the car was amusing, Rachel kept talking about cows. O_o So ya, it was funny.

Sunday I spent most of my time doing homework. 'Nuff said.

Monday, hello, it's a Monday!

Today: Nothing special, I was pretty damn tired though in band. I wish the storm lasted longer. And in the second part of the storm, we got a really bad wind storm that lasted a little while, and one of our trees blew over. So that's it. Bai!

I SAID A BOOM CHICK A-BOOM!!!! (I said a boom chick a-boom) I SAID A...*falls asleep*

(Something went wrong last night with Blogspot, but I blew off my homework just to type this, so you better read it!)

Happy Birthday to you! happy birthday to you! happy birthday dear..bloggie (O_o), happy birthday to you. And now we eat cake and leave

*Black*
So today was uber long. First I had to get up earlier because I had a ton of crap that I had to find and stuff, and then I had to eat and get ready and all that crap. And then I had an issue with skirts. XP I didn't have one to wear for today (I'll have one Friday tho!!). So I had some coffee, went to school, talked to some people, and went about my day. Nothing extreamly special happened, except I don't have to have Mrs. Roach again!!! YAY! She sucked as a study hall teacher XP. Though I did get an A on my science test, I was WAY happy about that! ^^ After science was band. It was ok, though it went a little longer then it was supposed to. So when we got done with rehersal, I had a hard time getting ready, but for once, I got my cumberbun????? on right and didn't have to have people fix it for me XD.

So after I got situated, I took all of my crap to the truck and got on the bus (les busses (booses) lol). We were supposed to have silent hype, and I did the silent thing right, but thinking about our show...tee hee, I just let my mind wander to other things, like school and last weekend, and other things. You can't control my mind mann!!! Ha! Once we got there, we spent a lot of time getting ready. When Sullivan was giving us a pep talk, it was funny, Andrew (I donno how to spell his last name) came up to me and just put his arm around me. I wonder if he thought I was Caroline??? Lol, it was odd.

*Black*
So then we played. I really thought I did ok. I saw Mr. White, he was like right in front of the flutes for a little bit. I wonder if anybody noticed he seemed to know exactly where to be at the right time?? Lol. ^_^ When we were done playing, we marched off the field, and by that time, my hat was REALLY hurting my head, like soooo badly. And my feet were sore too. So we went back to the bus and I changed into my jeans and stuff. Then I grabbed my dinner, and waited around for Mitch and Sangkuk. Lol, Mitch made me run though, XD, I don't blame him though...O_O. Then we sat down and ate our turkey hot-dawgs (dood, there was soooo much freaking meat on the sandwiches!!). Mine was ok, I only ate half, but my brownie was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! Mmm!!! Brownie...hah, like my banner on my fone "Mmmm...Cake!" So we watched the other bands, most of them 5A. And we had a large time in between. Then they announced the scores. And...GM won out of 7 4A schools. Yay!

Then we left the stadium. Back on the bus, we sang a mutitude of songs. And I tought the woodwinds Boom Chick A-Boom. Some of them liked it, some did not. I really like Shane's version, even though he was making fun of the song, lol. And my throat hurts from screaming so loud, lol. Emily was gonna take me to Denny's, but I couldn't go. So I wasted some time playing hacky-sak with some of da guys. Lol. And now I am home. I am supposed to be doing homework, but I don't want to... All I have is math really, because Clapham is letting the band kids turn in stuff later! ^^ And we had no homework in French. But I really want to blow off math...it's so tempting. Besides, I have to get up early tomorrow, so I don't want to stay up late. I've already wasted quite a bit of my time (and your's, lol) making this post. But I felt I had to. Lol. So...now that there is no more to say...g'night!!! Sleep tight!

Second Wind thing...

Today was the Second Wind run/walk. So I had to get up kinda early, and go to the church. We registered and stuff, and hung out for a while. Then we played some music. I guess it was ok, lol. Then we got to pet llamas, lol. They were very skittish, and it was amusing when Rachel tried to take pictures of these people, and the llamas would run away. Lol. So now I can say that I have petted llamas. XD. Then we listened to some speeches and stuff. And these two people read a prayer that they wrote down. Amy and I thought it was kinda odd, seeing as to me it defeats the purpose of making prayer so formal. Isn't it just talking to God anyway? Why write it down and act it out? Especially when you switch off readers, it sounds really insincere. So after that there was a "Dove release" and two minutes of silence. I was bad and started bouncing around, and Amy started to do it too, and then we kept laughing. We could not stop at all. It was a large time. But also, it was kinda rude too, cuz we're here at this thing remembering people who committed suicide and stuff, and here we are, just laughing out heads off. But it was faaauuny! (Lol, inside joke, if you had Calahan last year, you would probably get it. When people would say Lundi or monday, they would say it luundi, so Calahan would go Laaandi. Lol, ya, I know, we're weird ^^) So then the runners started, and Mitch left with them, so Amy, Ben and I waited 'till it was the walkers' turn to start. When we were walking towards the start, we saw Sangkuk. He and I kinda wanted to run, so we took off to the front of the walkers group together, wondering if we could by any chance catch up to the runners. We didn't, but we did beat almost all of the walkers. We might have caught up to a few more of the runners if I didn't get running cramps. So we would run for a while, and then I'd have to stop and walk because I hurt too much. I think I annoyed Sangkuk. Oh well. When we finished the race, we saw Kelly painting a unicorn on Mitch's arm. Lol, I took a picture of it, hehe. So then I got Kelly to paint a rose on my arm. It looked, cool but then it got smeared, and is almost gone. After she finished that, Sangkuk and I found Amy and Ben and ate some food. Lol. Then they left, and so he and I played hackysak for a while. We almost hit several people, but didn't. Then Alan walked up to us. XP. I ignored him, and then left, cuz I couldn't stand it no more. Then Sangkuk found me again, lol, and we just talked a bit 'till it was time to go home. 4/\/) 7-3/\/ I l3f7

So that was my day, cool no? Lol

"Has no one told you she's not breathing?"

Omg! This week was so uber insane. Plus it was that week. A.K.A family problems. So that wasn't cool, and if I lashed out at you, or freaked out, or complained too much or whatever, that's probably why. But seriously, this week was stupid. I had so much freaking crap on my mind, one thought basically was so screwed up that it could change my mood from rather happy to really depressed, and the same thought would bring my mood right back up to being really happy again. It sucked. And I'm so confused. Plus, things are definatly changing between cirtian people and me. That's both good and bad, in different ways. It's so crazy! I hate it! So I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do. But I can't stand these mood swings and thoughts like these much longer. And also, school and I didn't really get along that well this week. I kept forgetting a lot of my assignments, mostly because I would be focusing on things just as important to me, but they could be pretty distracting. So I would forget to do homework, or start it so late at night that I would have to give up and got a bad grade on it anyway. It stinks. XP

So that's basically it. Tomorrow is band again. And then Sunday is the the Second Wind run/walk. And I have to go to that. Sorry, wish I had more to talk about.

In pain.

Gah, I hurt all over today.

Let's see. Today was uber stressful but much better then yesterday. Lol. I forgot it was Thursday, and woke up to early, and was very tired. And this morning I came in "early" even though it was later then I normally come in on a regular school day. I thought I would work on my Jeffco Writes thing, but I came in a little too late...oops. Oh well, I finished it in class. I also didn't do my science homework. I thought I could do it in study hall. But we had no freaking study hall, we did some stupid thing with the future center. I was like "Mabye later, but I have freaking work to do, and would rather use my study hall time better. Screw you!" Lol. So I'm using a 24 hour card and still have not yet started it. I'll start soon though.

So after science was over (Gah it sucked! Gentry grades so hard, and my grade dropped ten percent! Cuz of one stupid assignment!) I had band. Weeeee. Not. At lunch I smacked my hand againtst one of those random metal things that are just...there. I have no idea what they do! and my tumb hurst like crazy! :( So I had kind of a hard time playing. And then after that, I was pulling what I think was one of the marimbas??? (Is that what they are? Well, they are the black xylophone type things) to the autitorium, and that kinda made my legs hurt. And I had a hard time breathing. ><>

Sreams into the black oblivion

Today was a suckish day, with out a doubt. This morning, I overslept, and I didn't get the math homework done. Oh well, I don't really care about that. But I wasn't very happy anyways. So I sat on the floor listening to my music, and no one cared to say hi to me. Plus I'm being somewhat ignored by people I would prefer not to be ignored by. At least that's how it is in person. So like I said, I was upset for mostly the whole moring. Government wasn't so bad though. At lunch and after, every one kept asking me if I was ok (I had gone back to my music again). But once again, no one who I actually wanted to talk to. So I shook it off, and told them I was fine. Then we had Black day. I screwed up a little, ended up with a 7. I donno how good that actually is. We played our music inside for a while. Then for the last hour, we went outside, and good Gawd, I froze. My hands were like solid ice.

So that's all I have to say. If you read my blog, will you please tell me, because it's a huge waste of my time if no one cares enough to visit here.

Ballet

Today in band, Robbie taught us ballet. Lmao, it was a blast, yet kinda annoying. It was really embarrassing too. I got super dizzy from the turns and stuff. And couldn't quite get whatever he was saying. But still. I had fun. And the rest of band really didn't suck today, because it wasn't really hot, so ya.

Today we had an assembly. It was rather disturbing. Gina and I amused ourselves by playing with my magnetic bracelet that everyone loves to play with. Lol. But ya, the stuff the juvenile officer said was really sick and disturbing. Some of it was like well, no duh, like what you could lose you're licence. But there was this one thing about a 54 year old I think who claimed to be 18 and was talking to this girl who was our age, and kept talking about sex and all that crap. And then he asked her to meet him in Durango, and the police found out, and decided to go check it out (that's when they discovered he was 54). He planned to rape the girl, and video it, sick freak, and then murder her. It was discusting! There are so many creeps. And I've had my share of having to deal with them!!

Well, I really have nothing else to say, other then I'm so confused over a bunch of stuff.

On cloud 9 (giddy)

Ok, so this is a much needed post wouldn't you say? I guess I'll start with the kid who got pushed into a window in the computer lab. They say that he tripped, ummm, no. Generally, you don't trip up into things! Lol. Ya he was just goofing off, and messing around with his friend, and got pushed (on accident) into the window. Ended up with gashes on his arm, face and stomach. Poor guy, passed out in the clinic.

Anyways, Friday was the homecoming game. We had rehersal after school, working on our opener and some of the second tune. Then we went home for an hour (I went to Starbucks with Carla, and then came home and ate some food) and came back at 5. We had a pant check, and I passed. Weee? The bus company screwed up our "order" so we waited outside for a while. Gordon and Mitch made a plastic bag hacky-sac so we played with that until Mr. Sullivan told us to stop. Finally, the buses came. We loaded up, and Amy and I had a large time talking to Tim Perdu. When we arrived, it was almost the end of the second quarter, so we warmed up for about 8 foot ball minutes (ok, so it wasn't almost the end, but it would be if it wasn't foot ball minutes!) So then we played our show. It's pretty hard with out orange gak marks! We ended up kind of crooked in our ending lines, but whatever. I'm kind of worried about Jeffco though... Then we had third period off, and Ryan bought me a Pepsi, which I shared with Mitch. The for the fourth quarter, we played pep music. I didn't have all of the music, so it was kinda hard. Then we got back on the bus, and went back to the school. Sammy really wanted to sing, and I just wanted to think... So when I got home, I did. Lol, and I went to bed.

Last night, Saturday, was the homcoming dance. I changed my mind and decided to go last Sun. when I went shopping with Gina. So first I had to get up kinda early and go to marching band. Ugh, I have given my soal to Sullivan now. ><>

Then Mrs. Sutherland took us too the school. At the beginning, I didn't have such a great time, we waited for some people to get through the line to buy tickets, and then hung out for a bit. But it was kinda boring. Then things started to pick up a little. I danced a minimal amount of time, and then Mitch and I left the crowd because it was so hot, I thought I was going to die! Then we hooked up with our group again (it was really easy to get separated, lol) and danced again. I danced with Mitch during a slow song, that made me pretty happy. ^^ Once again, I took a break from the immense heat, and stuff, and then I was summoned by Monika, and went to go comfort Angie, because she was feeling sad. Mrs. Eggleston was very kind, and let us behind the curtain to go sit on the stairs and just talk. So once Angie was feeling a little better, we went back to the rest of the people and danced just a little bit more until we had to go homw. At that time we walked to the front of the school to get away from the traffic and Ben called his dad to come get us. We drove to Sonic and I was surprised that there was no one there. I got a cherry limade, and it was uber sour. Lol. We talked a while, as we waited for our stuff. No one knew that it was homecoming this week, so they were rather slow. More and more people started to show up there, including Mitch's mom, lol. So we left, and I went home, listened to music for a while, and went to sleep, much happy was I. ^_^

Ok, well today wasn't very great, so I'm not going to make you read about it, ok? Lol.

Ps, my blog's birthday is coming up soon I think. Lol.

Hi Everypeoples!

Ok, this blog is like....uber shunned. So onto the ranbling!!!

Marching band is not cool!!!! I really can't stand who I have to march by. I have to dress to one person, and such, and it's Michelle. Not like she is mean, or whatever, but it's kinda hard to follow her. Sometimes, when I'm trying to go straight to my dot, I think that she is going straight there too, but then she suddenly just turns and goes straight across when she gets to a cirtian part in the move, and then our interval is all screwed because I tried to keep it even when she is going diagonally, but when she turns it gets messed up right away. It's really annoying, because then Kendra yells at me for a. not going straight to my dot, and b. messing up the intervals. I wish she would just stuff it! Then, since I only have Michelle to dress the form to, I tend to look back, to see if in fact in and in the right angle, and the interval between Michelle and I is equall to the person following me. Well, then Kendra yells at me "You dress to Michelle!" and she always has this annoyed tone in her voice. Well, how the heck am I supposed to know if I am in the right spot, if I have one person to dress to, who may not be on her dot (at least she can dress to her dot, makes it a lot easier for her) if I can't look back at the form??? Everyone else gets to, I know Kendra does, isn't she supposed to dress to me??? The only way I know she does really is shes always telling me to go up, or go backwards or to your left, or right. How would she know with two people who could be right in a number of differnet places?! Seriously, she could at least be nicer about the way she tells me. I was venting to Mitch the other day about this. It was cool, because for once, someone understood about how I felt, and didn't just say "She's only trying to help you get better" to me it seems like she's only trying to piss me off!

Anyways, Homcoming week is this week. Spirt week is as follows

Monday: No school (yay)
Tuesday: Pajama day (no spaghetti straps please!) XD
Wendsday: (I forget what this is)
Thursday: Jersey Day (I think)
Friday: Black and Gold day!!! weeee?

Ya, that's like been in the annoucements all last week, it got really really annoying!!! Friday is also the game, yay! I think the marching band might play, I haven't heard from Sullivan, so I'm not one hundred percent cirtian, so that kind of stinks. And then Saterday is the dance. I don't think I'm going. I don't have a date, I and I don't want to go alone, because most of the time, I'd be just sitting, and stuff, talking to other girls who didn't have dates but decided to go anyway, and then that get's boring. So I'd end up having a lousy time, and go home jelous and depressed. Sounds like fun eh? Tho I'm kind of sad I prolly won't get to go out to dinner with everyone. That sounded like it would be cool.

Well, I be going now. Bye!
LE

PS: OMGAWD OMGAWD OMGAWD!!!!! I got the Fallen album from Evaescence. YAY!!!!! Uber depresssion!!!!!! Weeeeee.
